RiverSide Electronics Conflict Mineral Policy
RiverSide Electronics relies on our Customers Designated Design Authority, in control of the “Qualified Manufacturer’s List” or “Approved Manufacturers List” associated with the Bill of Materials, to provide a defined source of material(s) from socially responsible manufacturers who comply with the Dodd-Frank regulation and our own Conflict Mineral Policy. The Designated Design Authority for the customer shall provide to the customer all the necessary declarations in support of their design.
For RiverSide Electronics sourced manufacturers, we require the following:
- The manufacturer/supplier shall perform due diligence and country of origin inquiries to provide certification that these components and supplies either do not contain DRC Conflict Minerals or are “DRC Conflict Undeterminable”
- Suppliers must pass this requirement on to their supply chain as necessary to perform due diligence and determine country of origin for the conflict minerals
- Manufacturers who are non-compliant to these requirements shall be restricted from future business
As part of our Conflict Mineral Policy, RiverSide Electronics does provide customers a certificate of due diligence for RiverSide sourced manufacturers.
